Kirsten Snellenburg PT, DPT, CVTP

About Me

Kirsten Snellenburg, PT, DPT, MPT, LMT is a full-time faculty member at St. Petersburg College Physical in the Therapist Assistant Program and a part-time practicing physical therapist at Back2Normal Physical Therapy Clinic in St Petersburg, FL.

Kirsten graduated from Nova Southeastern University Physical Therapy Program with a Master’s in Physical Therapy, and the University of St Augustine with a Doctoral in Physical Therapy.  She has her Bachelor of Arts degree from Eckerd College and a license in massage therapy from the Humanities Center in Pinellas Park, FL.  


My Skills

Kirsten has over 25 years of clinical experience in the outpatient, Skilled Nursing Facility, Home Health, and in the Pinellas County Jail. Her manual therapy background includes Barral Visceral manipulation techniques, Manual articular techniques, Neural Meningeal technique, Advance Brain techniques, CST, MFR, NMT, Paris mobilization techniques, MSU Osteopathic cranial and spinal technique, Mulligan, Butler, Chaitow, Spinal Stabilization, Pelvic rehabilitation, vestibular rehab.   

 

Kirsten is the lead faculty and has been teaching full-time at SPC for  7 years.   She has been teaching Massage CE’s since 1998.  She is a certified CCCE and has an online teaching certificate.   She is published as a contributing author in a sports rehabilitation textbook.  Kirsten assists as a TA for the Barral Institute for the VM curriculum, as well as facilitates a Visceral Manipulation Study Group in St Petersburg FL @ Back2NormalPT in the spring and summer seasons.
