About

As a lifelong student of nutrition and wellness, I became a vegetarian at the age of 14 and then I began attending regional and national health conferences through the American Natural Hygiene Society (aka National Health Association). After working for many years as a professional librarian and feeling unfulfilled, I decided to study massage therapy and I became licensed to practice in Ohio in 2003 (now licensed in Florida). I also became certified in Thai Yoga Massage through the Lotus Palm School in Montreal. After moving to Florida in 2007 to help my parents, I completed a two-year program at State College of Florida to become an Occupational Therapy Assistant. For several years I worked as an OT assistant in public/private schools and also at a pediatric clinic with children of all ages. Since 2003, I have maintained a private practice in which I treat children, teens and adults with a combination of Craniosacral and the Masgutova Method of Reflex Integration Therapy. After a car accident in 2018 I decided to let go of the reflex integration therapy so now my practice is focused on providing Craniosacral Therapy.

I have also had a strong demonstrated interest in mental health issues as evidenced by the twelve years I spent working as a volunteer with The Loving Course, in Cleveland Ohio. The Loving Course is a powerful self-development workshop that fosters emotional healing and trust-building with self and others. As an undergraduate I also studied psychology and at the graduate level I have studied counseling and social work.  In 2017 I became a Certified Craniosacral Therapist at the Techniques Level.
