Anne Hammel

Certified Alexander Technique Teacher

Anne's primary intent is to facilitate each individual's innate ability to self-correct and heal. She works with a high level of attunement, using high level of sensitivity and subtly. Each session includes ongoing assessment to facilitate a dynamic shift. Drawing upon extensive knowledge of movement, anatomy, physiology and emotional process, Anne follows the person's dynamic multi-level process.

The process helps the individual come into better balance and release patterns that have resulted in pain, discomfort or limitation. It helps them inhabit and enjoy their body, feel grounded and resourced. Anne has helped people with chronic pain, acute and traumatic injuries, migraines, musculoskeletal dysfunction, post-surgical issues and so forth.  Her work is informed by ongoing study in Visceral Manipulation, CranioSacral Therapy, Somatic Intuition and other movement modalities.
