I graduated with my Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2004. Over the years, I have trained with the Upledger and Barral Institute to learn the unique and very powerful manual therapy interventions to address hidden pathways of impairments.

I am certified in Craniosacral Therapy Techniques (CST-T) and find the combination of Craniosacral and Visceral Manipulation very successful and powerful to identify and treat those with hidden tissue dysfunctions. Those who experience orthopedic subacute and chronic pain from whiplash, temporomandibular dysfunction (TMJ), neck and low back pain and cervicogenic headaches often find relief from the light touch intuitive manual therapy.

Addressing the Vagus and Phrenic nerve restrictions in the cervical, thoracic, and abdominal region have a very powerful effect on the autonomic nervous system (ANS) and I often find patients report an improvement in overall health following the sessions. Improvement can be noted in sleep, anxiety, respiratory diaphragm mobility to assist with inhalation and exhalation, and a decrease of headaches and nausea. Addressing the ANS helps those with long covid, dysautonomia, migraines, among other conditions.

I enjoy helping patients achieve pain relief and increase function with manual techniques, often identifying hidden areas of dysfunction and impairment that are often overlooked and not addressed or identified with previous therapies or medical management.

Movement and exercise are integral to living a healthy life. As a Physical Therapist, I am able to educate and instruct individuals through specific exercises following the specialized manual therapy interventions to fully achieve the optimal mechanics and posture to continue living a healthy and active lifestyle.
