About me: I was born and raised in Twisp, and returned home to live, work, and raise a family in 2017. I love being part of this small community of people who support and care for each other. In my leisure time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, learning, cooking, kayaking, and being in water.
Professional background: I graduated from Liberty Bell High School in 2003, and received a BS in Exercise and Sport Science from Western Washington University in 2006. Next I attended the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA, and earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2010. Since then I have been a licensed physical therapist in Washington State and have practiced in a wide variety of settings including Acute Care/ Burn Care, Acute Rehab, Pediatrics (hospital based, outpatient, schools, early intervention, and durable medical equipment), and outpatient orthopedics/sports. The majority of my clinical experience is in pediatrics, and I earned my Pediatric Clinical Specialist certification in 2017 and a graduate certificate in Sensory Integration in 2021. I also became a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) in 2023, and I am a current member of the feeding and motor therapy team at Bright Start Services in Omak, WA. I began learning Craniosacral Therapy in 2019 and have attended multiple courses and received regular mentorship to enhance my skills. I am currently offering Craniosacral therapy for babies and adults, as well as lactation support.

Hours of operation / Fees
Hours: Fridays 8:00-3:00, by appointment. Please inquire about other days/times if needed.
Fees: I am not currently taking insurance, as this type of therapy does not easily fit in to a plan of care that is accepted by most major insurance companies. If you are seeking treatment for a specific medical diagnosis, I can provide a Superbill which you may submit to your insurance company to request reimbursement if your insurance includes coverage for non-preferred providers/ not in-network providers. I am able to take an HSA card for payment.
My fee is $95 for a 1 hour session. I offer a $25 discount for babies and children, making the cost $70. I accept cash, check, or card. Please let me know if you are concerned about the price, I would like to make my services available to those who want them.

My skills
Babies: Craniosacral therapy may benefit babies with tongue tie, painful or difficult latch, failure to pass newborn hearing screening, recovery from birth trauma, GI issues, asymmetry of body, positional preference/torticollis, head shape asymmetry/ plagiocephaly, colic and difficulty with regulation. For babies and mamas I am also able to provide lactation counseling to help with common breastfeeding difficulties including difficulty latching, painful latch, general questions and education. Babies who have difficulty latching or painful latch often benefit from craniosacral therapy as well as education on improving latch and positioning.
Adults: For adults I provide whole body craniosacral balancing which can be helpful for relaxation, general health/wellness, and a wide variety of issues related to stress, central nervous system dysregulation, healing from trauma, headaches, digestion, chronic pain, TMJ dysfunction, and other parasympathetic functions. Craniosacral therapy helps to reduce nervous system tension, and is also beneficial for health and wellness throughout the lifespan.
