My Skills
Her background of studies from the Institute of Therapeutic Massage is set in medical massage. Certified in many modalities under this category, Rebecca has gained experience through working closely with Dr. Jonathan Laux at Laux Chiropractic for over eight years prior to going on her own. She has continued to learn new techniques including Trigger Point therapy, and Thai massage. With craniosacral therapy (CST), she has practiced on her human clients, as well as working on horses, dogs and cats. She has completed seven different classes, including Somatoemotional release. This therapy has been shown to help those with concussions and other serious head traumas, among other issues. Reiki, she feels, goes hand in hand with CST. in which gentle touch is used to help restore or balance flow of energy in the body. Energy travels in certain pathways and can become blocked or weakened. Reiki reopens or unblocks these pathways. Yoga connects with all of these in releasing the body of tension while bringing balance. This helps physically as well as emotionally. Available for patients
