About Me
Liezel Anne Palon is a 2004 graduate from Centennial College Massage Therapy 3 year based Program. Since July 2004 has been an active member of the CMTO. The first two years of her Massage Therapy practice Liezel was booked months in advance but felt unsatisfied with her clients progression. They left feeling better but only lasted a few days or hours at most and returned regularly for the same chief complaint. Liezel felt driven to learn new tools to assist her clients to support the root problems then providing a quick fix.
On May 2008 Liezel took her very first Upledger CranioSacral Therapy level 1 class and has not looked back. As she continued along the curriculum she acknowledged a lot of association of childhood injuries or traumas in adults. That feed her curiosity to learn more about Pediatrics. Liezel knew if she could offer support at an earlier stage she might help prevent future aliments.
Throughout her training with IAHE curriculum she sustained 10 concussions in totally. Four concussions before her first CST class and six during her training, which led to symptoms like short term memory loss, anxiety, depression and headaches. Luckily, her exposure to CranioSacral Therapy has helped her tremendously and is currently living a pain free and active lifestyle. Along her personal recovery she had many experience manual therapist work on her. She was driven to learn all and more of the techniques the other therapist provided for her. Expanding her education into the Barral Institute as well as other modalitites.
Liezel believes finding mind, body and soul balance was important in her recovery. If she can offer that support for others to find their balance via manual therapy, then her past prepared her for those who need her assistance today and in the future.
My Skills
Liezel adapts the treatment session depending on the clients goals and clinical findings in the assessment. Working with the nervous system a key element to respecting the body by providing tools that work with the body, then against.
