Lesley is integrative in her approach in assisting people recover from chronic pain, digestive issues, somatic dysfunction, trauma, and tension.
She focuses in recovery of Vagal Nerve function and can employ various interventions to assist the body in recovering balance in the Autonomic Nervous system. She focuses on client education, manual body and gentle exercise to help down regulate the sympathetic nervous system and stimulate the ventral Vagal network. She is also trained in use of Dr. Stephen Porges auditory Safe and Sound Protocol, Heart Math Inner Balance work and breath work.
In practice as a Physical Therapist for over 30 years, Lesley uses manual visceral therapy, osteopathic manual techniques, breath work, movement awareness, and vibration, to assist the body, brain and mind to come into balance.
You and your body are assisted into homeostasis and self correction.
