I've been an occupational therapist for almost 40 years. I have been providing CranioSacral Therapy services for the past 20 years. I work with infants, older children, adolescents, and adults. I am a teaching assistant for the Upledger Institute and assist with CranioSacral courses a couple times a year.
Infants with plagiocephaly and torticollis are frequent referrals. CranioSacral treatment within the first four months of life is essential to prevent future need for specialty helmets with these children. I also address reflux, colic, constipation, sleep issues, body tension and arching into extension and tethered oral tissues with infants.
Older children and adolescents are often referred for CST to facilitate a calm and organized nervous system. Tourette’s, autism spectrum, anxiety, and sensory processing issues are commonly treated.
My main focus with adult clients is working with individuals who have had concussions, migraines/headaches, neck and TMJ pain. I typically use a combo approach of CST and acupressure with cold stones to relieve migraines. MS and other neurological conditions such as tinnitus and trigeminal or occipital neuralgia, spasmodic dysphonia, and cervical dystonia are my other frequent referrals. Clients with dural tube issues such as dural cysts or Chiari malformation may benefit from CST services as well.
I also have training through the Upledger Institute in level 2 manual lymph drainage, neuromuscular therapy for treating cranio-cervical instability, Heart-centered Therapy and energy medicine/Healing From the Core. I have completed extensive training related to autoimmune and connective tissue disorders, with focus on improving function for those with either rigid or hypermobile joints. I’m specialized in treating the various types of Dysautonomia - including POTS and the other frequent co-morbidities of hypermobile Ehler’s Danlos Syndrome, e.g. gastroparesis and MCAS. I am trained in the Healing Touch through Healing Touch International. In addition, I have completed level 2 Reiki training, JFB Myofascial Release and NDT combined with MFR, and I am a reflexologist licensed in North Dakota. I use a combination of these alternative healing methods when assessing and working with my clients. My main goal is to provide compassionate wellness care while supporting each client in their healing process and provide ongoing home program suggestions to improve body awareness, balance the autonomic nervous system, manage stress, and relieve chronic conditions.

My Skills
I have completed over 200 hours in adult and pediatric training in CST through the Upledger Institute along with another 300 plus hours in other alternative modalities through the Upledger Institute across a 20 year time span. In addition, I attended one online and two in person trainings on infant CST with Lori Hendrickson and I have also studied CST with Carol Gray in Oregon. I have taken the training on re-positioning and stretching for infants with torticollis and plagiocephaly through Baby Begin. My initial myofascial training was with Reggie Boehme, OTR. Through this and other course work I learned to use inhibition and facilitation techniques, i.e. neurodevelopmental therapy (NDT) in combination with myofascial release. I recently completed a course on using breathwork and movement to develop improved body awareness and stability for those with hypermobility. I am certified in the SI assessment process (SIPT) and have advanced training of over 300 hours in autism, sensory processing, feeding and oral motor development. I offer SI consultation to area therapists and have presented a 2 day workshop on SI assessment and treatment for the non-certified therapist. My masters is in Education with an emphasis in college teaching so I enjoy teaching a variety of workshops. I provide 1:1 mentoring for individuals who are attending CST training as well as lead informal CST study groups.
