I began my journey in holistic wellness over 40 years ago as a holistic Esthetician, specializing in upper body lymphatic drainage. Witnessing firsthand the profound impact it had on improving my clients' skin health, alleviating sinus issues, allergies, and headaches ignited my passion for this field. After some time, I took a break to raise my family, but my dedication to holistic wellness remained strong.
Twelve years ago, my journey took a transformative turn when I experienced personal trauma. I turned to Usui Reiki, lymphatic drainage, and craniosacral therapy, finding solace and healing for the physical, emotional, and mental challenges I was facing. This pivotal experience inspired me to return to my practice and dedicate my life to helping others achieve their own healing and balance.
My exploration of Reiki began in 2012 when I started receiving treatments and experiencing its profound effects firsthand. By 2017, I decided to deepen my connection by taking my first class—Reiki Level One—to learn how to treat myself and integrate its benefits into my personal healing practice. This journey continued, leading to my certification as a Usui Reiki Master in 2021. I am also a certified massage therapist in California since 2019 and a certified Lymphatic Drainage specialist since 2019. In the same year, I took and passed the rigorous MBLEX exam, which is no longer required for licensure. Additionally, I hold a certificate for completing Upledger Craniosacral Therapy One and Two.
What sets me apart from other practitioners is my intuitive approach, ensuring each client receives a custom-designed service tailored to their unique needs. I find great satisfaction in seeing the transformative changes in my clients' lives, using an approach that is intuitive, nurturing, and results-focused.
My personal journey has also reinforced my belief in holistic healing. In 1989, I treated severe asthma holistically and have not had an asthma attack since. More recently, in 2020, I chose a non-conventional, holistic path to overcome an aggressive form of stage 3 breast cancer and have remained cancer-free for over four years.
Outside of work, I am passionate about reading and researching holistic bodywork methods for longevity and finding solutions for physical, mental, and emotional challenges. I hope that clients learn from our sessions that they are self-healing beings, and I am simply there to assist them in their journey. I also ensure that the energy in my treatment space is always optimized for each client's highest and best outcome.
