Geri White, owner of Hudson Valley Physical Therapy, has been a practicing physical therapist for over 25 years. She received specialized training in the evaluation and treatment of female and male pelvic floor muscle dysfunction through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Herman-Wallace Pelvic Rehab Institute. She also received advanced training on visceral manipulation through The Barral Institute. She is an APTA Board Certified Women's Health Clinical Specialist (WCS).

My Skills

High quality one on one treatment sessions for women and men are emphasized utilizing traditional physical therapy interventions with a focus on manual therapy techniques: Comprehensive musculoskeletal and biomechanical evaluation including pelvic floor muscle assessment(internal and external); Advanced external and/or internal manual therapy techniques such as soft tissue mobilization, myofascial release, visceral manipulation, nerve manipulation, craniosacral therapy, and scar massage; Biofeedback for muscle recruitment and/or relaxation; Electrical stimulation for neuromuscular re-education or pain control; Bowel/Bladder re-training; Therapeutic exercises including pelvic floor muscle strengthening/activation, postural re-education, muscle relaxation, core stabilization, flexibility, range of motion, and home program instruction; Instruction in self-management techniques to reduce symptoms and improve quality of life
