About Me
After surviving a head-on car collision I had been battling neck and back pain for many years. I was told I would have to have back surgery or possibly lose the use of my legs and control of my bladder. Through my research I was frightened of the possible complications that could occur from a spinal fusion. This fear propelled me to find alternatives. Many modalities helped me manage my pain but it wasn't until I received Craniosacral Therapy (CST) that I was able to achieve a deeper level of healing. It put my life on a whole new trajectory; CST not only assisted me in healing my spine but healing my spirit as well. I was so grateful to have found this work that I was inspired to learn it myself.
- In 2008 I became a Certified Massage Therapist (CMT) #55289.
- In 2014 I became certified with the state of California.
- I started my Craniosacral training in 2013 with Upledger and became techniques certified in 2019.
It is my joy to assist you on your journey to self healing.
My Skills
I also worked as a professional makeup artist in the film industry from 1997 to 2022. I have always been fascinated with anatomy, facial structure and the human skull. Working on film sets gave me the unique opportunity of learning to support my body while working a very demanding schedule. I believe there is always a way to make things more functional. How we take care of ourselves is the most important gift you can give yourself. I have enjoyed seeing how these two very different career paths have converged and overlapped.
My Interests
