About Me

You never know where life will take you!

I was born and raised in Southern Vermont, I graduated high school at 17 and was definitely not ready to sit in a classroom for four more years. I wanted to go out into the world and make a difference. I am proud to say that after serving more than 26 years in the United States Coast Guard I have done just that.

You could say that I am a late bloomer. My desire to make a difference, my military drive, and my passion for understanding the body motivated me to become a physical therapist in my thirties.

While working in a variety of traditional settings such as short term rehabilitation, long term rehabilitation and outpatient clinics, I found myself routinely frustrated and disappointed by the lack of commitment and caring displayed by big corporations and insurance companies who were paying for this service. That's when I made the decision to offer therapy services in non-traditional settings such as gyms, private homes and on the playing field. This model results in the client receiving the highest quality of care with the best possible outcomes.

I am passionate about the Barral Curriculum and the body. I look forward to continued advanced course work.

My Skills

I have been taking classes in the Barral Curriculum since I was in graduate school for physical therapy. I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at American International College. Previous to that I received my Medical Assisting Certificate from Holyoke Community College. While on active duty I successfully completed the course for EMT.

During my military career I have attended several courses which have a direct impact on my civilian profession. Most notably, I recently completed the Senior Enlisted Academy in Newport,RI. I have attended Leadership and Management School as well as several tactical courses.

Professional Associations / Memberships

I am excited to announce I am returning to private practice as of March 2024.
