About Lisa,

Licensed massage therapist, a LSU graduate, and teaching assistant with the Upledger Institute for Craniosacral Therapy in Florida. She brings many years of education and a healing touch to the table!

Purposeful, present and professional in all she does. She comes prepared with a healing touch and genuine, verifiable skills.

Thus, she is certainly tall and strong enough to do sports massage and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitated stretching of any size athlete.

However, for a true inner, central nervous system healing experience, Lisa specializes in Craniosacral Therapy and has the palpation skills to give thorough feedback upon conclusion of the session. She has worked alongside and gained valuable insight and skills from chiropractors, physical therapists, and a medical doctor. And, she has enjoyed working alongside other health professionals in providing a team approach for her patients health and wellness experience.

Craniosacral Therapy

(CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. It was pioneered and developed by Osteopathic Physician John E. Upledger after years of clinical testing and research at Michigan State University where he served as professor of biomechanics.

Lymphatic Balancing

Lymphatic Balancing (LB) is a curriculum specifically designed to utilize the philosophy, approach, and specialized manual lymphatic drainage techniques, which were originally designed to treat lymphedema, and apply them to the orthopedic patient. LB is used to treat excess fluid or swelling, fluid stagnation or lymphedema in the cranium, spine, rib cage, visceral system, and the upper and lower extremities using osteopathic lymphatic pumping techniques. Studied under Kerry D'Ambrogio, D.O.M., A.P., P.T., D.O.- M.T.P.

Sports Massage and Stretching

Your therapist incorporates PNF & Thai stretching with positional release techniques into a Sports massage to give you greater range of motion and release tension in the fascia and muscles.

Hot Stone Massage
