About Me
Suzanne Bovenizer brings an eclectic array of modalities to her therapy practice. Having been trained in aromatherapy and classical massage techniques in England in the 80's, Sue returned to America in the early 90's to begin her CranioSacral education with Upledger Institute.
Sue is now a certified CST Techniques therapist, has TA'ed for CSI, CSII, SERI, SERII, VM1 and preceptors the CST Advanced classes.
She has co-run a CST Techniques study group with Tom Nichols (PT,CST) In Charlottesville, VA and mentors new CST therapists. Other modalities she offers in her practice include SER and dialoguing with the cells of the body and the glial system of the brain, Visceral Manipulation, Pediatric CST, Instructional TMJ Release work and Reiki (Master level). As a certified Yoga teacher, Sue offers Restorative adaptive yoga training when needed.
Sue's work with dolphins (BAEA, BAER & BADA) has become a passion and she hopes to continue to develop her relationship with these awesome creatures...
Sue has brought CST into Hospice wards and has done work with the elderly to maximize quality of life in their remaining days. She also offers a "Welcome Baby" session free of charge to new borns.
Suzanne Bovenizer wrote a monthly aromatherapy article for her local newspaper ECHO for over 15 years. The Echo articles can be found at www.suzannebovenizer.com. She has also published an article on CST in Hospice and CST & Pediatrics for ECHO. Sue has written an article as well as has been interviewed on web radio on Dolphin Assisted Therapy. Suzanne has also been interviewed on local television discussing the benefits of CST.
