About
I am an Emeritus Associate Professor and former Clinical faculty at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington Minnesota. I am now the proud owner of my own private practice, Longevity Bodywork and Acupuncture LLC. I have been a massage therapist since 1993 specializing in working with people with chronic pain. I have been a Craniosacral therapist since 1999 and have taken extensive training with Upledger Institute and hold techniques level certification CST-T. CST is a major part of my practice. I am also a Licensed Acupuncturist and TCM herbalist. I have been practicing Chinese Medicine since 2009. In addition to my Integrative Medicine trainings I have a BA from Oberlin College in Creative Writing and an MFA from the University of Minnesota in Fiction Writing. I like a good story and my experience as an artist helps me have a careful ear for the importance of language in the SomatoEmotional Release (SER) process. At heart my work is always about supporting people where they are in the moment.
