Robyn currently practices near Orlando, Fl . Prior to this, she worked at The Upledger Institute for many years as a staff clinician and as an integral part of the team of therapists responsible for the Intensive Programs. She is certified at the Diplomate level, and as a presenter. While at UI, Robyn worked with clients and therapists from all over the world, and travelled extensively as a therapist, presenter and educator. She served in many capacities, also dealing with administration and development, supervising students, assisting with classes, and volunteering in various programs assisting soldiers returning from Iraq, and traumatized children. A 1997 graduate of the University of Maryland Medical School, she holds a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy. Ms. Walpert's professional experience encompasses both traditional hospital and specialized clinical settings. She became fascinated with the power of touch and the profound healing available simply through the use of our hands and hearts. Since 1999, she has dedicated herself to practicing CranioSacral Therapy and adjunctive modalities that focus on empowering individuals to access true healing. She has also studied and integrates numerous other modalities, including visceral manipulation, lymphatic drainage, joint mobilization, strain/counterstrain, muscle energy, myofascial release, therapeutic exercise including pilates and yoga, sensory integration techniques and SensoriMotor Psychotherapy. She enjoys working with clients of all ages, and with a diverse range of needs .She strives to deliver highly individualized, comprehensive care, and focuses on assisting people in optimizing their potentials in achieving their health and wellness goals. She also leads a monthly study group for CranioSacral practitioners of all levels. |
